Working on a children's message for Sunday? Looking for an article written by your favorite professor? Hoping to do a little scholarly exploration? To support your lifelong learning, Princeton Theological Seminary provides you with access to one of the widest selections of resources available to alumni from any theological institution. Welcome home!

If you have not yet contacted the IT Help Desk to request access, you’ll need to do that first. Simply email help.desk@ptsem.edu or call (609) 497-7812 and ask for alumni database access.

For those of you who have requested and received access from the Help Desk, click on Alumni, and then Welcome, Princeton Seminary Alumni! in the main menu on the library website.

There, you will find a list of the databases available to you. Take some time to explore each of them. You might remember using some of them when you were a student, while others may be new to you.

JSTOR and Academic Search (Alumni Edition), for example, are multidisciplinary databases providing access to journals in many subject areas. [Another example is] text, commentary and annotation from the Oxford Study Bibles.

Click on a database title, log in and explore. You won't need to log in again as you explore the other alumni databases, unless you close your browser or leave it idle for a long time.

You'll notice that most of these databases do not resemble one another in terms of the interface or the search strategies. Not to worry! Each database has a Help button located somewhere on its landing page, so please do make use of it, if you are unfamiliar with the particular search strategy and other features of the database you are using.

If you have questions or suggestions, please contact the Reference Librarian or the Discovery & Web Services Librarian by using the links on the library website.

Please note: Alumni do not have access to all of the resources available to current students; descriptions of and links to those available to alumni can be found on Welcome, Princeton Seminary Alumni!.
