Revival of the Dutch Cataloging Project
Feb 27, 2017
Cataloging of the Puchinger Collection – primarily Dutch language material – has resumed with the aid of the Digital Collections team’s beautifully designed inventory of the material.
The Princeton Theological Seminary Library has one of the most extensive collections of materials by and about Abraham Kuyper and nineteenth and twentieth century Dutch Protestantism in North America. In addition to the works of Kuyper himself, there is a wealth of material by other leaders of Dutch thought from this period, including the writings of the poet and historian Isaac da Costa, of the political thinker and royal archivist Guillaume Groen van Prinsterer, and of the systematic theologians and church leaders Herman Bavinck and Klaas Schilder.
